I went to Parker Sedgemore Opticians and was tested before the practice moved up the road in Kingswood. I was thoroughly well looked after, I did not feel I was just a number which is how I felt elsewhere, my whole family go there now. I was horrified to be referred to the eye hospital with suspicious looking eyes. I went to the Bristol Eye Hospital, where I had extensive tests, and no real diagnosis. I was informed I had to carry on with my visits as they could not determin whether I had Glaucoma or not. Finally I have been been given a prescripton for drops I have to use daily for the rest of my life, the staff have complimented to Optometrist who refered me for being so viligent, and doing their job as they should. I now feel my eyes see better and feel better, but that could just be me being a sentive person.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My husband came to your Opticians for a sight test and needed spectacles, he has a very large head and most frames looked very small but Nina said 'don't worry I shall find something that will look good'. Today we went to look at some frames which were ordered specially and saw a few Jaguar styles, unfortunatly the only one large enough was the titanium 23carot gold plated one. Aparently it is made by Menrad and the largest modern frame the owner Nina could find, compaired with all the others, I could see it looked right. My Husband said it was the only one that felt good, he would have no other, even if it cost a mere £295! Comfort was more important! Why has he had problems in the past finding frames.
I would always say now, see your independant optician they will find what you want. I shall never go else where!

I heard about this help for my child in Primary Times and took my child for a tinted pair of spectacles, her reading has improoved dramatically and her confidence. You should see the improvement in my daughter! I felt so emotional at the time....now that I've had time to reflect I feel so pleased that so many more doors have opoened for my child now that she isn't going to be held back by her reading problems anymore. And she loves how trendy her tinted specs look too!

I wanted to send an email to inform you of my recent visit to your opticians I was extremely impressed by the service I was given whilst in your
branch, your branch holds such a friendly and child friendly environment.
I was given a very thorough eye test and had never been given this at my previous Opticians; I also didn't feel rushed like some opticians make you feel.
I am not to sure if you receive feedback from your customers but because I was most impressed with the service I had been given, I felt the need to let you know.

I took my 9 year old son for a colour test a few weeks ago, the staff made us feel at ease which was good for the nervous but exited young chap. On doing the colour test the Optician found that my boy was very sensitive to the exact colour he was choosing, and Nina was very patient. Once the colour was found he read some text and his improovement was so dramatic. Hopefully he can catch up at school with his new specs!
I took my son for a colorimetry appointment, he has several problems, no specific tint helped, but Nina obviously could tell he needed help she endevoured to help. we were given a tint to try which ********* tried and it was obvious this helped, as he said the words and numbers were not being naughty. My son with his difficulties now conciders his spectacle as making the letters and numbers behave>
He ia so happy!
